Donations:
The Board of Directors and management at Paragon would like to offer our sincere thanks, and gratitude for two recent donations to the Club.
We would like to thank the Nix family for making a very kind donation of a beautiful bench on #4 tee, in honour of Karen Nix. This will accompany a tree which was planted in honour of long-time member Doug Nix. The Nix family has also made a cash donation, which will enable the purchase of a new handicap computer for the future use of our membership.
We would also like to thank our anonymous member for the donation of a dedicated screen monitor for the Pro-Shop. This new piece of technology will enable all members and guests to view the current tee-sheet from outside the Pro-Shop at all times. This will not only provide a great convenience to our players, but will cut down on congestion in the Pro-Shop at busy times, and ultimately help pace of play by getting golfers started on time.
In conclusion, here are a few other announcements and reminders:
We will have a fully updated version of the Paragon 2022 Tournament Schedule posted early next week, so stay tuned.
We are still accepting registrations for membership for the upcoming season. Registration forms are available on the Paragon website, or can be picked up in person at the Pro-Shop.
The Paragon G&CC Spring Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 31 at 7PM in the Clubhouse.
The Paragon Junior golf program gets started on June 15; contact us for more details.
The Tuesday night Ladies Golf League begins on June 7; contact the Pro-Shop for more information.
That’s all for now!! Stay tuned for more updates, as the 2022 season here at Paragon kicks into high gear!!
Thanks, and see you on the links!!
